He started to think about how he would make money, but couldn't come up with any good ideas. So he then decided to register a domain name, but he couldn't decide on a name he liked. While he kept procrastinating, the sales from his non-existent online business kept flowing in. He even had to buy his very own bank just to handle his money.

If you haven't figured it out by now, this man doesn't exist. The only way to become wealthy without taking action is to be born rich, which only happens to a select amount of individuals, or become a benefactor of a generous inheritance. Even a lottery winner had to take action when he or she bought the winning ticket. You simply can't win the lottery if you don't buy a ticket.

The single biggest roadblock holding back the majority of online marketers is that these people never take action. These people want their site to be perfect before they go public. Or perhaps they are too scared to start a blog because "I don't have anything to say". Then we have an experienced marketer who continues to put off releasing his or her first product. Instead of releasing it to the public, they continue to tweak it over and over out of fear.

Sometimes it is easier to continue working on a project and not going live with it, because then you don't have to face the prospect of failure. The irony is, all people fail. Successful people don't make a big deal about it and learn from their experiences. Others take it so hard, that they simply give up.

You can't let the fear of failure hold you back from taking action. Every time you put off one of your projects, you need to ask yourself what you are so afraid of?" When you are finally confronted with your fears, you will discover that the worst that can happen is you fail. So what! Big deal! You will live through it and become stronger for it. Remember, the first step to real success is to take action.
